What's the question of the day? The question of the day is, "To business or not to business?" I think it's the real question that we should ask ourselves. Becoming an entrepreneur can seem like a daunting task. Many people might even believe that it's an insurmountable goal. However, I believe it takes faith, a community, courage and the desire to move past fear to make it happen. As I begin this new journey, I want to share a few things that I am learning along the way. My journey isn't perfect but I am progressing. Below are a few things that have helped me set-up my business. Please feel free to review them and apply them, as needed.
- Develop a business name
- Determine the structure of your business (LLC, Corp or etc.)
- Register your business name with the appropriate Department (State or Local)
- Obtain a Seller's Permit (If needed)

- Set-Up needed social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and etc.)
- Create Content (Logo, Visuals and etc.)
- Post to your Social Media Accounts
- Get a business card and some flyers (Check out Fiverr)
- Set-Up a bank account
- Obtain a DUNS number (It's like a social security number but for your business)
- Set-Up Net 30, Net 15 or COD accounts with companies (Quill, Grainger and etc.)
